# Get Video Generation Task Status

> Query the status and result of a video generation task.

Task statuses:

* `queued`: Queued
* `in_progress`: Generating
* `completed`: Completed
* `failed`: Failed

## Headers

**Authorization** `string` *required*

Bearer token authentication. Format: `Authorization: Bearer sk-xxxxxx`

## Path Parameters

**task\_id** `string` *required*

Task ID.

## Response

### 200 Successfully retrieved task status

Format: `application/json`

**task\_id** `string`

Task ID.

**status** `string`

Task status. Optional values: `queued`, `in_progress`, `completed`, `failed`.

**url** `string`

Video resource URL (on success).

**format** `string`

Video format.

**metadata** `object`

Video task metadata.

**Properties**

**duration** `number`

Actual generated video duration.

**fps** `integer`

Actual frame rate.

**width** `integer`

Actual width.

**height** `integer`

Actual height.

**seed** `integer`

Random seed used.

**error** `object`

Video task error information.

**Properties**

**code** `integer`

Error code.

**message** `string`

Error message.

### 404 Task does not exist

Format: `application/json`
